More Than Rabbits — Building A Life One Project At A Time
Welcome to Crazy D Ranch & Rabbitry.
We’re David and Laura—a husband-and-wife team building a real-life homestead journey one project, lesson, successes, and occasional mistakes at a time.
What started as backyard rabbits and everyday family life slowly turned into something bigger: a place to share what we’re learning, laugh at ourselves when things don’t go according to plan, and invite others to come along for the ride.
Around here, you’ll find a little bit of everything: rabbits and rabbitry life, homestead projects, gardening, sewing, quilting, reviews, honest conversations, and real-life lessons learned along the way.
We don’t claim to have all the answers. Most days, we’re figuring things out just like everyone else—sometimes the hard way.
But we believe there’s value in learning practical skills, working hard, staying grounded, and building something meaningful even when life gets messy.
David ("Crazy Dave")
Raised in rural Tennessee, David grew up around farming, hard work, and learning how to fix things—sometimes the hard way.
From rabbits and DIY projects to technology, reviews, and honest conversations, David brings the “let’s try it and see what happens” side of Crazy D Ranch.
He’s also the voice behind My 3 Cents and the occasional source of chaos around the ranch.
Laura
Laura brings creativity, heart, and practical know-how to Crazy D Ranch.
Whether she’s quilting, sewing, crocheting, teaching, or encouraging others to try something new, she believes creativity should be practical, meaningful, and fun.
She’s the heart behind Thursday Threads and proof that learning by trial and error still counts as expertise.
